Being a bridge is an important feature of our discipleship pathway. First, our community is in the center because we believe and strive to be a church in our community, for our community.  Our community does not consist of outsiders, rather, we see our community as friends and neighbors. Second, notice how at every stage there is an off-ramp in to our community. Some of these off-ramps are programmed such as outreaches or service days, invitations and social media pushes. But the hope is that we learn to live as a bridge in our community: that the way we conduct our lives, love our neighbors and speak of our foes will compel people towards the God we serve.
